The first question that most outside constituencies ask before making a gift is, "What do your Board, staff, and parents contribute?" It is so important that we show support from within before we go to outside sources for contributions. Participation in the Annual
Fund demonstrates to others that we, as the closest ones to the mission, philanthropically support our school outside of tuition.

Foundations that support our school with capital gifts gauge the health of the Annual Fund before issuing grants. A high participation rate demonstrates to them that Westminster is a school where its community is fully supportive of the mission.

Westminster faculty and staff lead the way and are the first to faithfully support the annual fund.

Each of our students benefits from the Westminster Fund, which provides the extra things that most likely set us apart as distinctively unique independent Christian school setting:

• challenging and innovative academic programs
• premier fine arts, athletic, and extracurricular activities essential to the development of the whole child
• small class sizes with individualized instruction
• a talented and diverse student body through need-based financial assistance
• exemplary faculty and staff who know and love each student in an unapologetically Christian environment
• advanced technology and pristine facilities and grounds that are consistently being upgraded

Paying tuition gives your child access to all of this. Yet, charitable gifts are necessary to help sustain and expand it.

Gifts to the Westminster Fund may be made at any time. Westminster makes a concentrated push for support of the Westminster Fund on Giving Tuesday, which is the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving. On Giving Tuesday, the school hosts a campaign called One Day for WSA for the entire school community, including alumni, alumni parents, current families and grandparents, to come together to support Westminster. This is a great time to make your gift.

The fiscal year for Westminster runs July 1 through June 30.

A gift of any amount is appreciated and counts towards the important participation measurements. Each donor is asked to prayerfully consider giving a meaningful gift, at whatever level that may be for you, that reflects your commitment to the school and
your ability to give.

Yes! All gifts to Westminster are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Upon receipt of your gift, the Institutional Advancement office at Westminster will generate an acknowledgement letter, which you may use as documentation when filing your taxes.
