Safety
We are unwavering in our commitment to the safety and security of the entire Westminster community. From the moment students, faculty, staff, their families, and visitors step foot on our campus, our primary goal is to ensure their well-being and to protect them from any potential threats. Addressing campus security is a challenging yet vital responsibility for everyone within our community and for those considering joining it.
We pledge to take all necessary measures to maintain a secure environment, allowing our community members to fully enjoy all that Westminster has to offer. To this end, we provide armed, certified law enforcement officers during all school hours, most of whom will be in uniform and equipped with marked patrol vehicles. This constant presence is a testament to our dedication to creating a safe and nurturing atmosphere for everyone on our campus.
Our promise is to uphold the highest standards of safety, ensuring that every individual can focus on their educational and extracurricular pursuits without concern. At Westminster, your security is our top priority.
"No parent ever wants to think about something terrible happening at their child's school. However, the reality is that we have to, and so choosing the safest school in Augusta was of the utmost importance to me. Seeing the daily armed police presence of off-duty officers, and police vehicles on campus, as well as knowing we have a trained response team on staff makes me know my child is at the safest school. I give thanks every day to Officer Bogdanow and his team for the work they do to keep our kids safe." - Westminster Parent
