Westminster Schools of Augusta Spirit Rock Rules & Regulations
Thank you for reserving a Westminster Spirit Rock! This is a FOFA (Friends of Fine Arts) fundraiser, and the cost of the reservation benefits FOFA. Please review the following guidelines before making your reservation.
- Reservation Fee: The cost to reserve the Spirit Rock is $20 per day.
- Reservation Time: Your reservation includes the time period from 4:00 p.m. the day before your reserved date until 4:00 p.m. on your reserved day.
- Available Reservation Days: Spirit Rocks may be reserved Monday through Friday only.
- Weekend Availability: The Spirit Rocks are available on a first-come, first-served basis on Saturdays and Sundays. However, for a Monday reservation, the purchaser may begin painting the rock after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
- Front of Rock Reserved: Each reservation includes the FRONT of the Spirit Rock.
- All Sales Are Final: Reservations are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued due to weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Painting Guidelines:
- Paint only the Spirit Rock.
- Do not paint the surrounding grass, sidewalks, curbs, or other school property.
- Artwork and messages should be in good taste, honor Christ, and positively reflect Westminster’s mission and values.
- Painting Supplies: The purchaser is responsible for providing all paint, supplies, and labor needed to complete the project.
- Professional Painting Option: If you would like Vivian Hornsby or Laura Kline to paint the Spirit Rock for you, please contact them directly. An additional fee will apply.
- School Approval: Westminster Schools of Augusta reserves the right to remove or paint over any artwork or message deemed inappropriate or inconsistent with the school's mission and values.
- First Semester Only: Reservations may only be made for the First Semester. A new reservation calendar for 2027 will be published in January 2027.
