At Westminster Schools of Augusta, we are committed to building a strong fundraising foundation that will allow us to meet current and future facility needs. These investments will directly strengthen our programs and support student discipleship, growth, and achievement, resulting in cutting-edge science labs, a state-of-the-art performing arts and worship center, and new classrooms to manage growth and move out of aging facilities. Together, we are shaping spaces that will inspire learning, creativity, and faith for generations to come.

Prioritized Impact Areas

1. Enrollment
Add one class per grade to grow to 750 students (240 HS, 180 MS, 260 LS, 68 PreK). Current enrollment is 630, the highest in school history, with five grades already at three sections.

2. Facilities
Current space is at capacity. Planning is underway to determine location, cost, and design for additional classrooms, updated science labs, and a new performing arts/worship center.

3. Capital Campaign
Prioritize funding for operating reserves and endowment growth.

4. Fundraising
Establish a dedicated fundraising office to support the capital campaign and long-term endowment.

5. Marketing
Launch a mission-driven marketing and communications plan to fuel enrollment growth and campaign success.

6. Professional Services
Engage experts to guide capital campaign strategy and campus expansion.

Desired Outcomes

WSA will strengthen teaching and learning across all grades, with a focus on STEM excellence, to improve college readiness and admission to top universities. Using assessment data, college counseling, and academic leaders will collaborate to expand course offerings, ACT/SAT prep, and strategies that equip students for success.

1. Expand design-based learning and STEM opportunities, beginning with the LS innovation lab.
    
2. Enhance instructional practices across all disciplines, with an emphasis on STEM.
    
3. Review and refine AP and elective courses to align with the mission and student needs.
    
4. Attract, recruit, retain, and develop top mission-driven faculty.
    
5. Leverage assessment data to strengthen instruction and increase student success in college admissions and scholarships.

Desired Outcomes

WSA will refine admissions criteria to ensure students are prepared to thrive at or above grade level and align each decision with the school’s mission and values. Every classroom will be equipped with the resources and support needed for student success. To prepare students for the future God has called them to, WSA will expand opportunities for internships, mentoring, and service learning, while also strengthening school counseling to meet academic, college, and social-emotional needs.

At WSA, spiritual and spirited life is central to our student community. We will strengthen programs that foster service, discipleship, Biblical literacy, resilience, and belonging, equipping students with life and career skills while deepening their faith and engagement in school life.

1. Enhance student engagement and belonging through activities that strengthen both academic and student-life culture.
    
2. Expand scaffolded (K–12) opportunities for service learning and internships, fully integrated into academics and spiritual life.
    
3. Continue building GAP, Middle School Teams, and High School House programs to disciple, support, and encourage every student.
    
4. Deepen Biblical worldview development across curricular and co-curricular programs and create ways to measure impact in the lives of graduates.

Desired Outcomes

WSA will strengthen long-term financial health by eliminating debt, fully funding operations through tuition and fees, building reserves to withstand downturns, investing in deferred maintenance, and launching fully funded capital campaigns that secure the school’s future.

Key Strategies

1. Practice strategic budgeting, setting tuition at the full cost of education with a 2% contingency.
    
2. Allocate surplus to build an operating reserve equal to 12.5% of expenses, with a goal of 25%.
    
3. Fund regular teacher compensation increases to recruit and retain top mission-driven faculty.
    
4. Continue eliminating remaining debt.
    
5. Expand development efforts to include endowment growth and capital campaign funding.
    
6. Review and refine tuition assistance and discounting policies for maximum mission impact.
