Spring sports are right around the corner!

Middle School Spring sports tryouts are next week. Contact the appropriate coach with questions about tryouts.

Spring Tryout Information

If you plan to play a spring sport, make sure that you have a current physical and concussion form on file in the Athletic Office.

Athletic Physical and Concussion Forms

The Middle School Winter Athletic Assembly will be held on Wednesday, February 8.  All middle school athletes participating in basketball and swimming will be recognized in the Middle & Upper School Gym from 11:35 am - 12:15 pm.  Parents are welcome to attend.

Winter Senior Athletic Recognition will be held on Friday, February 10.  All senior varsity athletes and managers who are involved in a winter sport will be recognized between the girls and boys varsity basketball games. Plan now to come and show your appreciation to our seniors!

BASKETBALL

Our varsity teams have a few more weeks of regular season play before they head into the Region Tournament during the week of February 13.  The Girls Varsity team is 12-10 (1-5 in the region) and the Boys Varsity team is 12-10 (2-4 in the region). 

SWIMMING

Due to a state of emergency declared by Governor Brian Kemp last weekend, the GIAA State Swim meet was rescheduled for this Thursday, February 2 at Georgia Tech.  We wish our swimmers the best!

BOOSTER CLUB

Have you joined the Booster Club yet?  You can complete the entire process online! A Family Membership is only $185 for the entire year and among other benefits, provides free admission to all regular-season home athletic contests.  Other membership levels are also available.  Thanks to the efforts of the Booster Club over the past several years, numerous capital improvements have been made including the stadium restroom building and the new scoreboard.  Don’t miss the opportunity to join this loyal and hard-working group of parents, grandparents, and friends of Westminster.
