JV & Varsity Swimmers Compete in First Full Meet

Our swimmers are off to a great start!

Our swim teams competed on Saturday, November 13 in Cumming, GA.  This swim meet was a big one (over 260 kids), but ran smoothly.  WSA swimmers had awesome sportsmanship, were very well behaved and swam GREAT! 

The Boys Varsity team placed 3rd overall.

Individually, the Wildcats achieved 42 State/Championship Qualifying Times. Every swimmer got at least 1 Championship Qualifying Time, with the exception of one 5th grader who was close in 2 of his 3 events.  Many swimmers placed in the Top 5 and Top 10 in their events (some events had as many as 62 people, so well done!)

Our JV Girls also achieved 50 Freestyle &100 Freestyle times that are faster than the Varsity Championship Qualifying Times. 

We had swimmers who tried tough events that were new to them & swimmers who persisted even when their goggles failed them.  We are very proud of these kids!
