Post season play is rapidly approaching!
SPORTS NEWS
Remember to check the online calendar for the most up-to-date dates and times for all athletic contests.
All senior varsity athletes and managers who are involved in a spring sport will be recognized at Spring Senior Athletics Recognition on Tuesday, April 27 between the girls and boys varsity soccer games at approximately 7:00 pm.
The JV & VARSITY ATHLETIC BANQUET will be held on Monday, May 17.
Please note that Varsity Cheer tryouts for next fall will be held May 18-19.
Baseball:
The middle school team has played much more consistently during our first week after Spring Break. On Thursday we narrowly lost to league-leading St. Mary's by the score of 11-10. Henry West and Levi Murphey each had 2 hits in the game. Rod Anderson, Eric Robinson, and Ryan Janovic each produced 2 RBI during the contest.
On Friday we came back strong against Curtis Baptist, winning the game 17-2. Ryan Janovic had 3 hits including a double and triple and scored 3 times. Eric Robinson and James Pope each had 2 hits, with James getting a triple, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored. Henry West and Rod Anderson each had a hit and 2 runs scored, with Henry also collecting 2 RBI. Levi Murphey had a double and scored 3 runs while also pitching 3 innings and getting the Win. Within our conference, we now stand at a record of 5 Wins - 4 Losses.
The AAMSL Tournament will be May 3 and May 6.
Varsity Baseball will wrap up their regular season this week.

Quarterfinals – May 7-8 at higher seed
Semifinals – May 14-15 at higher seed
Finals – May 21-22 at Mercer University (Macon, GA)
Golf:
Congratulations to the Varsity Golf team for winning the Region Tournament last week!
State Tournament – April 26 at Brunswick Country Club (Brunswick, GA)
Soccer:
Middle School and Varsity Soccer teams finish regular season play next week.
The Middle School AAMSL Tournament will be May 5 and May 7.
