BASEBALL

After being in the lead 8-0 over Augusta Christian last week, the Middle School Cats lost a heart breaker by the score of 9-8.  Ryan Janovic went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.  Ben Baker had 2 hits and 2 RBI, and both Levi Murphy and Rod Anderson also had 2 hits during the game. Wills Pollard had a single and RBI along with several well-handled plays in the outfield. 

Unfortunately, our Thursday non-conference game was canceled due to concerns about possible storms in the area. Within our conference, we now stand at a record of 1 Win - 2 Losses.

SOCCER

Our Varsity Soccer teams played in the TaxSlayer Border Classic this past weekend.  The boys won all of their games, beating Greenbrier, Aquinas, and Grovetown.  The girls lost to Aquinas but beat Deerfield-Windsor out of Albany, GA.  Our boys record is currently 5-1 and our girls are 4-2-1.
