In alignment with our 2020-21 school-wide theme,"Walk Humbly," our Lower School instilled a positive behavior plan to help students live out this theme on a daily basis.

In alignment with our 2020-21 school-wide theme,"Walk Humbly," our Lower School instilled a positive behavior plan to help students live out this theme on a daily basis. Whenever a student showcased a humble act, a shoe was stapled to the "Walk Humbly" board for everyone to see! The theme is from Philippians 2:3B-5, "In humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interest of others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus."

"We want our students to know God's word and also put it into practice," stated Megan Perry Lower School principal. "This challenge had our whole Lower School working together, and it was so encouraging to see our students putting others above themselves.

We are proud to announce that last week our students filled up the "Walk Humbly" board with 250 acts of kindness and humility. We are thankful for all of our students and faculty members who continually instill humility in their daily lives.

"I love that our school reinforces these Christlike qualities on a daily basis," stated Lindsay Bui Lower School parent. "Thank you Westminster for making this a fun and memorable lesson for our kiddos."

To celebrate this benchmark Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Boname delivered doughnuts and "Walk Humbly" bracelets provided by the Westminster Parent Association to all Lower School students on Friday, Feb. 5. Great job, Wildcats!
