Boys MS Basketball Teams Play at EDS

The A team comes away victorious!

The Boys Middle School basketball games Thursday night, January 7, were played away at the EDS gym. 
 
The A Team game started slow in the first quarter as neither team could get a shot to drop. The quarter ended with WSA ahead 4-3. The pace and scoring picked up as the lead swapped several times in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. At the start of the 4th the score was tied at 22.  The lead continued to seesaw back and forth in the fourth and with 6 seconds left the teams tied at 28. It looked like overtime. Then as time expired a controlled tap rebound from Rod Anderson gave us the win.
 
The B Team game was close through 3 quarters with the lead changing hands several times. At the start of the 4th the score was tied at 14. However, the fourth quarter was very frustrating for us as we did not score another basket. We suffered our first defeat with a 10 point loss 24-14.
