This month's "Wildcat Spotlight" features Westminster senior, Alli Joiner. Alli is actively involved in the Westminster Fine Arts Department. "Creating art has given me an outlet to express my talent and creativity that the Lord has given me." Please continue to read Alli Joiner's Q&A interview with Marketing Intern and junior, Randale Pete!

Q: How does this year's school theme, "Walk Humbly," apply to you?
Alli: This theme is a great reminder every day to "Walk Humbly" before God. I want everything I do to glorify the Lord!
Q: Are you involved in any service activities?
Alli: This year I had the opportunity to serve my grandmother by running errands for her after her surgery and during the length of quarantine. Serving her has helped me learn that it's okay to ask for help from others.
Q: As an upperclassman, do you have any words of wisdom or advice to freshmen at Westminster?
Alli: It is never too early to meet with Westminster Director of College Counseling, Mrs. Hanley. Even if you are a freshman or sophomore, start thinking about what you want to do, where you want to go to college, and what it will take to get into that college.
Q: What would you like to study in college?
Alli: My dream is to go to college to study animation and game development. One day, I would love to work as an animator.
Q: What inspired you to pursue drama?
Alli: My freshman year, my best friend encouraged me to audition for the Westminster spring musical, Mary Poppins. After that performance, I realized that I had a love for theater.
Q: How does art and drama influence your walk with Christ?
Alli: Creating art has given me an outlet to express my talent and creativity that the Lord has given me. Being involved in drama has allowed me to entertain others and hopefully put a smile on their faces!
