Our Wildcats fall to Monsignor Donovan.

The varsity football team travelled to Athens this past Friday to play Monsignor Donovan Catholic High School. It was a very competitive game against a good MonDon team. Westminster ended up falling to the Rams with a final score of 13-32. With many new players this season, the Wildcats didn't know what to expect, however they will be a team with potential that will continue to improve each week. The defense was led by Benjamin Bayliss, JD Kassner, and Liam Banks who accounted for most of the tackles and a recovered fumble (Bayliss). The offensive line, led by Banks, Bayliss, Sam Drake, and JR Hitchcock played a solid game opening running lanes for Carter Huss and Whitt Tisdale. Huss ended the game as the Wildcats leading rusher and scored 2 touchdowns on the night. Westminster will play at home this Friday at 7:30pm against Windsor Academy.
