Bill Clem, Director of Finance and Operations

Bill ClemMr. Bill Clem is the new Director of Finance and Operations here at Westminster. Mr. Clem is an MBA educated finance manager and CPA with over 25 years of accounting experience including 10 years of supervisory experience in accounting department operations. He most recently worked as the DFO of the Swarm, the professional lacrosse team that moved from Minnesota to Atlanta just a few years ago. Bill, his wife, Carol, and their two oldest children, Molly and Nate,  just recently moved from the Atlanta area to Augusta last month and are excited to become a part of the Westminster family! 

 

Chrystal Senter, Assistant to the Upper School Principal

Ms. Chrystal Senter will be the new administrative assistant to the Upper School principal. She graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in Child and Family Development. She has been home for the last 17 years homeschooling and raising her four children (Addie Lane 17, Lillie 15, Henry 10, & Bella 7) Ms. Senter has a passion for Christian education and a love for people and is thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to join the Westminster community.

 

 

Tacy Fleury, Upper School Chorus

Mrs. Tacy Fleury moved to the CSRA in the fall of 2019, and is excited to join the WSA faculty as the Upper School Chorus Teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Bachelor of Music (Voice Performance) from Wichita State University, and a Master of Music (Voice Performance) from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. She has 19 years of experience teaching at the collegiate level, including directing choirs, teaching private and group voice lessons, choral conducting, and other music classes. Most recently she taught at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, for 13 years. Prior to that, she served at Piedmont Baptist College (now Piedmont International University) in Winston-Salem, NC. She has also taught private voice lessons for over 20 years to children, teens, and adults, and is an instructor for the Augusta University Music Conservatory Program. Mrs. Fleury loves helping her students to glorify the LORD by singing with vocal excellence and meaningful communication, equipping them for a lifetime of enjoying God’s glorious gift of music. She is active in the music ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Augusta, where her husband Leigh is the music director. They have three wonderful children (Grayson—14, Clara—12, and Marianne—10).

 

Jennifer Smith-Mojica, Middle School Spanish

Mrs. Jennifer Smith-Mojica is not new to the Westminster family but is new to her current position as the Middle School pre-spanish teacher. Mrs. Smith-Mojica has been an academic coach and a substitute teacher for the past two year in middle and upper school and is very excited to be back in a classroom part time. Mrs. Smith-Mojica received her BA in Anthropology with a minor in spanish as well as a Masters in Education and Administration from Ashford University. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, and being outside in her garden.

 

Brittany Patterson, Middle & Upper School Fine Arts Drama Director and MS Chorus

Ms. Brittany Patterson is the Director of Dramatic Arts and Middle Choirs here at Westminster Schools of Augusta. She is a graduate of Reinhardt University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Ms. Patterson continued her passion for performing by playing the role of Beth March in production of Little Women with The Oak Theatre in Atlanta, GA. She began her professional career teaching private music and vocal lessons before teaching chorus and drama to middle school students in Dallas, GA. While in Dallas, Ms. Patterson started the only middle school day drama program in the county. She most recently worked as the Director of Dramatic Arts at North Paulding High School. Ms. Patterson has a passion for discipleship and leading worship in all areas of her church. She recently moved to Augusta with “Bear” , her Great Pyrenees dog. She enjoys reading, loves coffee, frogs, William Shakespeare, and anything humorous. Being a daughter of God is the greatest identity she will ever have and she looks forward to being the hands and feet of Jesus in her classroom here at Westminster.

Kellie House, Middle School English & Bible

Mrs. House is thrilled to be joining the middle school at WSA! She will be teaching 8th grade English and Bible, along with 7th grade Public Speaking. Mrs. House graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Middle Grades Education and minors in English and History. She has been happily married for 11 years to D.T. House, the Student Ministry Pastor at First Presbyterian Church. They have served in ministry together with college, high school and middle school students all over the Southeast. Mrs. House has 3 children (10, 8, and 5) whom she has had the privilege to be at home with for the last 10 years. She is most excited about being able to bring together 3 of her biggest passions - discipleship, teaching and students - and get to call it "work!"

Traci Bergum, Lower School PK4

sarah bruceMrs. Traci Bergum graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1991 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. She furthered her education in 2010 at Strayer University with a Masters in Information Systems. She has been teaching for the past 17 years in different capacities including college math and computer classes, 6th and 7th grade math, and 4 years of Pre-K. Mrs. Bergum's family has lived in Augusta for the past 28 years. She and her husband have two sons, Bradley (19) and Ryan (13) and says she is a very blessed mama! Her passion is helping children learn and grow spiritually in Christ. She loves college football (Go Gamecocks!) and cooking. She is excited about the opportunity to work at Westminster where she can share the love of Christ with children.

 

Lindsey Seepe, Lower School Grade 1

Mrs. Lindsey Seepe will be teaching first grade this year at Westminster. She graduated from Georgia Southern with a degree in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising in 2009. Soon after pursuing a career in the fashion industry, God led her to return to school where she completed her degree in Masters in Art and Teaching at Augusta University. Lindsey was Mrs. Buchanan's teacher assistant from 2010-2013 and she is so excited to return back to her favorite school! She has two children who will be in TK and second grade this year at Westminster. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family and loves photography.

 

Sarah Coleman, Lower School Grade 2

Miss Sarah Coleman is an Augusta native who attended Westminster from Pre-K to12th grade (class of '07). She graduated in 2011 from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2012, she moved to Charleston, SC and began working in a Title 1 public school. She taught 1 year in PreK, 1 year in Kindergarten, and then finished her last 6 years teaching 1st Grade. While there, she was honored in being named Teacher of the Year and won Excellence in Elementary Mathematics Teaching for Charleston County School District. After 8 years in Charleston, Miss Coleman decided to move back home to Augusta to be closer to family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and watching movies. Miss Coleman is excited to be back in the school that gave so much to her life and join the faculty as a 2nd Grade Teacher!

 

Samantha Nobles, Lower School Grade 3

Dr. Samantha P. Nobles will be joining the lower school and teaching third grade this year at Westminster. She graduated from Voorhees College with a BS in Business Management, Augusta State University with a Masters and Specialist in Education Leadership, and received her Doctorate in Education Leadership from South Carolina State University. Her experience as a classroom teacher is rooted in mathematics at the middle school level. Dr. Nobles has also served as an administrator and teacher trainer from the elementary, middle, and high school grade levels in South Carolina and Abu Dhabi, UAE. She is an active member of her church and enjoys being a member of the praise team. Dr. Nobles is married with two wonderful sons and the proud grandmother of two. During her free time, she loves gardening, reading, working on puzzles, and spending time with her family and her adorably active cocker spaniel.

 

Karen Wells, Lower School Grade 4 ELA/Social Studies

Mrs. Karen Wells graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Elementary Education. She has just moved to Augusta from Tallahassee, Florida where she taught for many years, most of those in a fourth-grade classroom. She and her husband moved to be close to their grandchildren in Augusta and Columbia. In Mrs. Wells's free time, she loves to garden and exercise.

 

Tammy Corley, Lower School Grade 4 & 5 Math

Mrs. Tammy Corley grew up in West Virginia and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Oklahoma Christian University. She earned a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and Middle School Math and Science from Augusta State University years later, after homeschooling her own children for seven years. She then taught 7th grade and 1st grade in the Richmond County school system, and has been a teacher or TA in private preschools for the past 5 years. Last year, Mrs. Corely was blessed to become a part of Westminster's family as a TA in Kindergarten. This year. She is joining the faculty full-time as the 4th and 5th grade Math teacher. On a personal note, she enjoys coffee in the mornings with Jesus, my family, our pets, cycling, hiking, swimming, the mountains, the beach, and nature.

Janice Rehder, Lower School Grade 5 ELA/Social Studies 

Mrs. Janice Rehder is a graduate of Augusta University and holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Special Education and Elementary Education. In 2020, she retired from the public school system with 27 years in Columbia County Schools. Mrs. Rehder is the mother of 2 boys Thomas (19) and Chandler (25). Her husband, Tom, works in Interior Design with a local Architectural company.

 

Ashley Kennedy, Lower School Grade 4 & 5 STEM

Mrs. Ashley Kennedy will be joining the lower school teaching 4th and 5th grade STEM. She graduated from King University with a BA in middle grades education. Most recently, Mrs. Kennedy taught 8th grade science and coached high school volleyball in Corinth, Mississippi. Prior to that, she taught 2 years of 7th grade science and 4 years of 6th grade science and was a head volleyball coach at Christian Academy of Knoxville. Mrs. Kennedy and her husband moved to Augusta this summer to begin his residency in Internal Medicine at Augusta University. She loves anything sports related especially the Dallas Cowboys and Mississippi State Football.

 

Farrah Pritchard, Lower School Media Specialist

Ms. Farrah Pritchard graduated from Augusta University with a BA in Communications. Since then, she has worked with local production companies and news affiliates as a Producer, Editor and Cinematographer. Following her time in television she had two sweet boys Levi 8 and Ezra 7 and stayed home to care for them until the fall of 2017. After that Ms. Pritchard taught Audio Video Technology for Butler High School. Then, last year she was the Business and Computer Science teacher at Langford Middle School. Ms. Pritchard and her family enjoy family walks with their precious Beagador (which she states is the best dog breed on earth), taking photos, and thinking about the beach. She is so very grateful for the privilege to work at Westminster as the Media Specialist for the Lower School.

Kaitlyn West, Westminster XD & Summer Programs Director

Miss Kaitlyn West will be joining the Westminster team as the new XD and Summer Programs Director as well as providing Academic Support in the Lower School. She graduated from Crown College with a BS in Elementary Education and a Master's in Educational Administration. For the past six years, Miss West has taught ELA for fourth through sixth graders in Hickory, NC. She enjoys reading, playing her ukulele, and spending time with her puppy, Riley. Miss West is looking forward to the upcoming year and being a part of the Westminster community.

Colletta Portis, Lower School TK Teacher's Assistant

Ms. Colletta Portis will be joining the Lower School and working as a TK teacher assistant. She graduated from Paine College with a BS in Early Childhood Education and received a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction integrating Creative Arts from Lesley University. She has a Specialist Degree in Leadership and Administration, received from Cambridge College of Massachusetts. Ms. Portis is a retired RCBOE teacher, where she taught for 32 years. After one year of retirement, Ms. Portis began working as a kindergarten teacher at Hillcrest Baptist School. The following school year, she was promoted and named Principal of Hillcrest Baptist School. Ms. Portis enjoys traveling and spending time with family in her free time.

Summer Wolfgram, Lower School Kindergarten Teacher's Assistant

Miss Summer Wolfgram joined our Lower School family last year as a Pre-K teacher's assistant. This year, she will be working alongside Laura Mathew as the Kindergarten teacher's assistant. Miss Wolfram grew up in Edgefield, SC and graduated from Fox Creek High School in 2013. Her daughter, Aidyn, attends Westminster and will be in first grade this year. She is currently studying for her Bachelor's degree in secondary education through Grand Canyon University, specifically US History. In Miss Wolfgram's free time, she loves spending time with her daughter through various activities such as baking, cooking, crafting, coloring, snuggling and movie watching. She enjoys kayaking down the river, going fishing, and painting.

Marti Moody, Lower School PK4 Teacher's Assistant

Ms. Moody is an enthusiastic and passionate teacher’s assistant who will partner with Traci Bergum this year in PK4. She has most recently worked as a substitute teacher at Augusta Prep and Augusta Christian. Ms. Moody loves children and is dedicated to building a nurturing and safe learning environment.
