New Varsity Cross Country Coach Hired

The Westminster athletic department is pleased to announce our new head cross country coach for the 2020 season.

 We are excited to have Coach Aaron Johnson lead our boys and girls cross country teams next fall.  Johnson ran collegiately for Presbyterian College and continues to compete in local and regional distance events from 5K to Half Marathons. He has also completed several full marathons including qualifying for and completing the Boston Marathon.  For the past four years he has worked with Westminster’s middle school cross country and track teams. This past season, the middle school boys team won several cross country meets including the AAMSL championship. He and his wife, Patrice, have been married for 24 years and have two sons at Westminster.
