Westminster varsity football team wins second region game of the season!

The varsity football team won their second region game of the season this past Friday as they defeated Solid Rock Academy 45-14. The defense was led by Jake Heaton and Taylor Edmonds as they both combined for over 14 tackles. The offense was rolling during the homecoming game and the homecoming king, Jack Baker, led the rushing attack with 170 yards on the ground and he scored 2 touchdowns. Joseph Jackson also had a good rushing game scoring 3 touchdowns. Thomas Saul led the Wildcats through the air as he passed for 167 yards and 3 TD's finding solid receivers like Grant Fuller (3 TD's) and Sam Carter in the end zone. The Wildcats will be on the road this upcoming Friday as they travel to play Holy Spirit Prep at 7:30 pm.
