Westminster Welcomes New Trustees

Meet our new trustees, current parents John Farr and Richard Kershner, and alumni parent, Nancy Miller.

John Farr

Dr. Farr is a strong advocate of Westminster's excellent Christ-centered education curriculum and has been especially impressed by the faculty members personal investment in their students. He and Julia have been encouraged as they have watched their daughters grow academically, socially and spiritually during their time at Westminster. Dr. Farr believes that it is imperative that Westminster remains steadfast in pursuing its mission of educating and equipping its students to live extraordinary lives for Christ. He is excited to join the Board and looks forward to helping Westminster grow- students, faculty and infrastructure- so the school will be well-positioned to realize its mission in the CSRA in the years to come.

Richard W. Kershner

Mr. Kershner's family has been a part of the Westminster community for the past 17 years. They have been blessed to see how the school has shaped their boys' lives and prepared them for their future endeavors. The Christ-like character that the students at Westminster develop is a true testament to not only the faculty and staff but to their individual desire to strengthen their daily walk with Christ. Mr. Kershner is looking forward to extending the reach of Westminster Schools of Augusta into our community and collectively charting the course for the future of this institution. It is imperative, now more than ever, to offer our students a college preparatory education with a strong Christian foundation that prepares them for the many challenges that they will face.

Nancy Miller

Mrs. Miller has been involved in the Westminster community for many years. Counting children and grandchildren, the Miller family has a combined 33 school years at Westminster. When she, her husband, and four young children returned to Augusta in 1982, Westminster was one of the draws and a priority. Westminster's mission of equipping students to live extraordinary lives for Jesus Christ was also the primary family goal for the Miller children. The Miller family is grateful for Westminster, and now, by serving on the board of WSA, it is Mrs. Miller's desire to encourage and continue to support this vital ministry for the next generation of students.
