The artwork created by four Westminster students at the annual AP Art Show wows all in attendance!

Westminster's Annual AP Art Show was held on Tuesday, April 23 from 6:30 to 9p at the Jessye Norman School of the Arts in downtown Augusta. The show displayed unique artwork from AP Art students Sarah Banta (Senior), Anni Budge (Junior), Meaghan Rich (Senior), and Olivia Wahl (Senior). Friends, family and community members enjoyed a lovely night of live music, tapas and mingling with the artists.

Of the artwork on display, there were a variety of mediums including photography, sculpture and paintings. Through hours of working closely with Middle and Upper School art teacher Vivian Hornsby, these four students have developed an unbreakable bond with the veteran art teacher. Mrs. Hornsby is extremely proud of the hard work of these AP artists and is excited to see what all they will accomplish in college next year!

Sarah Banta plans on attending Drexel University in the fall, Meaghan Rich will attend the University of West Georgia and Olivia Wahl will attend Georgia College. The dedication and talent of these artists provide a true depiction of Westminster's portrait of a graduate.
