Spreading kindness is the KINDergarten way!

Spreading kindness is the KINDergarten way! Our amazing kindergarten students took two field trips this week - one to Build-a- Bear to make stuffed bunnies and then to deliver the stuffed animals to the Ronald McDonald House just in time for Easter. “There are kids that will not get to be home for Easter and we wanted to make sure they got a special gift,” says kindergarten student Arden Hasten.
A special gift is exactly what this service learning initiative is. It’s a gift to be able to teach our students how to love one another like Jesus does. It’s a gift to be able to serve our community. Throughout this school year and for several years prior, the kindergarten classes have supported the Ronald McDonald House through various service learning initiatives.
Developing a servant heart and serving God by serving others is a cornerstone of the Westminster experience!
