MS Baseball Looks to Rebound from Tough Loss

With three games this week, our middle school Wildcats plan to bounce back after a loss to EDS.

Last week was challenging for the middle school baseball team, both on and off the field. Off the field, they have suffered a couple of significant injuries that have impacted the team.  On the field, the loss to EDS (6-3) was disheartening.  For the most part, the loss on Thursday to EDS was the result of the outstanding pitching on the part of EDS. The Cats only managed to get 3 hits, while also striking out 13 times. However, Andrew Millar had a great day at the plate by getting all 3 Runs Batted In with 2 doubles in 3 times at bat.

The Wildcats are really looking forward to this week when they have 3 games -- Augusta Christian on Thursday, and non-conference games against North Augusta Recreation on both Tuesday and Friday.
