Great Week for MS Baseball

Our Middle School Wildcats were 2 for 2 last week!

Last week was a really good one for the MS Baseball Program. Many of us went to the new SRP Stadium to watch the varsity team's game against Augusta Christian. We also had a parent's meeting to review the goals of the season and to answer questions.....and yes, we won 2 ballgames. Below is key information for this week.

Wildcats Win 2. On Thursday the Cats beat Augusta Prep by the score of 13-1. Pitcher Allen Grinalds got the WIN with 7 strikeouts and only 2 Bases on Balls/HP over 4 innings. Jacob Stone went 4 for 4 with 3 Runs Scored and 2 RBI, and also came in for relief and pitched 2 scoreless innings. Grayson Ensley got on base 3 times, and Andrew Millar and Thomas Freeman each had 3 RBI.

After a 1-hour delay waiting for umpires, on Saturday we played Augusta Christian and won by the score of 11-7. Jacob Stone pitched 5 2/3 innings with 8 strikeouts and only 1 Base on Balls/HP for the WIN. Colby Hawes went 3 for 3 with 2 Runs Scored. Allen Grinalds went 2 for 2 with 3 RBI, while Andrew Millar and Grayson Ensley each got on base 3 times.
