BASKETBALL

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Basketball team for their win in the first round of the GISA AAA State Basketball Tournament! The girls defeated Bulloch Academy 37-28 to advance to the Elite Eight. They will play Holy Spirit Prep on Friday, February 15 at 3:00 pm at Stratford Academy in Macon.

The Boys Varsity Basketball team plays their first round game against Bulloch Academy today as they seek to advance in the state tournament. 

BASEBALL

The Varsity Baseball season begins tomorrow, February 14, as our Wildcats host Aquinas in the first game of the season.  The first pitch is scheduled for 3:30 pm.

The Varsity Baseball team will play Augusta Christian on Tuesday, March 5 at 6:00 pm at SRP Park in North Augusta.  Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased from any Varsity Baseball player or from Katherine Smith in the Upper School Office.  Each ticket is also good for admission to the May 5 Green Jackets game!

SOCCER

The Varsity Soccer seasons began this week!  The Boys Varsity Soccer team will compete this weekend in the Winter Warrior Classic at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC.

BOOSTER CLUB

A Family Membership is only $185 for the entire year and among other benefits, provides free admission to all regular-season home athletic contests.  Other membership levels are also available.  Prepare now for the spring season with a Spring Seasonal Membership if you have not already joined the Booster Club!  Thanks to the efforts of the Booster Club over the past several years, numerous capital improvements have been made.  Don’t miss the opportunity to join this loyal and hard-working group of parents, grandparents, and friends of Westminster.
