It’s a quiet bus as we head home from GA Tech. So many eyes closed....maybe in eager anticipation of the Chick-Fil-A stop in 60 miles. It was a long 5 hours of racing but Wildcats had amazing swims all the way through the end! Before summarizing results, a shout out is due to Charlotte! She joined us today and helped catch splits and keep track of events. We look forward to her swimming with us next year!

JV boys. WOW. Four months ago some of them were just learning how to swim all 4 strokes. Today almost all of them competed in 5 races and dropped chunks of time!

JV girls continue to field a strong team. Everyone had a best time in at least one event. The girls are strong in all 4 strokes and are ready to take on State in 2 weeks!

Varsity boys pushed themselves today, trying races they haven’t swam before. No one gave up or complained. We’ve got some up and coming middle distancers!
The Varsity girls saw some best times in the backstroke & 500 Free.

We look forward to State, grateful that we could have another shot at qualifying today. With the holidays and Aquatic Center closed briefly afterwards, we have encouraged swimmers to get workouts in on their own. It’s cool to see such a strong meet afterwards. Shows the dedication and heart of our team.

Also, another shoutout to the parents who cheered everyone on, whether from the stands or in spirit. The season doesn’t happen without them.

Go Wildcats!
