Lower School met for Chapel wearing their brand new spirit shirts!

The Lower School came together in worship wearing their brand new spirit shirts! PK, TK and Kindergarten students sat with their “chapel buddies” to listen to this week’s talk. Westminster welcomed Mr. Ricky Coule, Associate Pastor at The Sanctuary Church, as the speaker today. Nathan (Grade 1) helped Mr. Coule visualize that all of life’s stressors can be hard to carry sometimes. With this, it is hard to help others in need when you are juggling your own activities! However, John 15:13 tells us that Jesus stated that the greatest love is to lay down your life for your friends. Mr. Coule explained that sometimes, in order to help lift others up, you have to let go of other less important things in your life. Letting go of time-consuming activities such as video games and watching tv can free up time to be a friend to someone who needs it most. Thanks Mr. Coule for your guidance!
