Lady Wildcats Place 2nd at Brentwood Invitational!

On September 12th the Lady Wildcat Cross Country team placed second of six teams with 49 points at the Brentwood Invitational in Sandersville, GA.?

Leading the way for the Wildcats was Reagan Lutz? (25:39) in 14th place and Meaghan Rich (25:47) in 15th.? The scoring places were rounded out by the tight pack of Lauren Eaddy (26:56/19th), Caroline Campbell (26:58/20th) and Claire Peacock (27:09/21st).?

Mary Rushton Massey (30:32) ran a near personal best time despite the humid conditions while dropping three minutes off of her time from this meet last year to finish 6th on the team. Caroline Weaver (30:45) shaved 4 minutes off of her previous time for this course and was the 7th wildcat across the finish line Sarah Margaret Farr finished the race in 32:44 while Thea Fernandez ran a personal best time of 34:04 to finish the race for Westminster.?

Grovetown High School won the meet with 26 points.?

The Top-7 Wildcats will be back in action on September 22 at the Aubrae Gunderson Invitational in Conyers, GA. On October 3 the entire team will reunite at Riverview Park in North Augusta, SC.?
