Congratulations to Franklin Garner for being selected as the Westminster Music
Award recipient. He participated in the Chorale, Boy's Quartet (State Champions!),
Spring Musical (Lead role), String Ensemble, Solo Competition (Region Runner-up)
and the Concert Band (percussion). He is attending Furman University (on full
scholarship) to pursue a degree in Music Composition.
The Middle School Chorus performed at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina on
May 20. They received three ratings of "Excellent" from the judges (the second
highest score) and also enjoyed a great day in the park.

Welcome to the Westminster Fine Arts!
At Westminster, we are constantly striving towards excellence in our fine arts programs. We have very active departments, which are always developing new ways to learn and grow as artists in all areas offered. There are performances throughout the year, which feature a variety of groups in all areas of music, drama (including vocal/instrumental ensembles, forensics, jazz band, and string groups) and debate. Information will be updated weekly and will include new announcements, downloadable forms, and performance opportunities, so check the website often!
