The Annual Sustaining Fund helps supplement the general operating budget of the school. The Annual Fund helps with things such as increasing faculty salaries, curriculum enhancements, campus technology improvements, and tuition assistance. The Annual Fund helps Westminster continue its tradition of excellence with students of today and tomorrow.
Excellence is not cheap. As with all independent schools, tuition does not cover the total cost of a Westminster education. Westminster does not receive state or federal government funds of any kind. To bridge the gap between income and expenses, Westminster relies upon the generosity of alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends. Giving to the Annual Fund allows us to pursue excellence in every facet of life at Westminster.
All Annual Fund gifts, no matter how large or small, combine to do great things in the lives of Westminster students each year. Your Annual Fund gift is a vote of confidence in the academic excellence and spiritual development that are at the heart of a Westminster education. When we seek gifts and grants from outside sources, they look at our percentage of donors to determine their gift. When a higher percentage of our parents, alumni, and staff give to the Sustaining Fund, outside sources are more likely to give to the school.
Participation is the key to successfully reaching our goal!
