Golf Tournament Tallies
|
Recently, Westminster Parents’ Club
hosted the second annual Westminster Golf Tournament. This spectacular
day of golfing was made possible by the generosity of Belle Meade
Country Club in Thomson, Georgia. Further, several corporate sponsors
supported our efforts to raise money for the Westminster Fund, the
annual sustaining fund. Our sponsors were:

With two starting times, teams competed
throughout the day. The Southern Family Medical Center team of Sean
Lynch, Mike Hodnick, Todd Fuller, and Rusty Coble won the tournament.
But everyone enjoyed a profitable day of fun and fellowship during
friendly competition and lunch in the club house.
Thanks to all who participated, the Westminster Golf
Tournament made more than $12,000. The money goes to this year’s
Westminster Fund and helps support the programs of our school.
Second place winners were (Queensborough Bank and Trust)
Adam Harris, David Bullington, John Haynie, David Whyte. Third place
was Mike Freace, Mark Tebbs, Andy Mosely, and Randall Boutwell. Jay
Forrester won the putting contest, and Paul Wier won the prize for the
longest drive. |
