2008-2009 Season
The Varsity Cheerleaders had a great season last year. The girls balanced a busy schedule between practices, games and preparing for competitions. The squad was lead and encouraged by two wonderful senior girls, Taylor Guido and Mackenzie Burgess. At the end of a very busy fall season, the girls traveled to Tattnall Square in Macon, GA on December 6 to compete in the GISA State Cheerleading Competition. Bringing everything they had to the mat, this amazing group of athletes came within points of winning the State title. The girls left Tattnall that day with smiles on their faces knowing that they had done their best. We now have four consecutive State Runner-up titles!

Breaking the Mold in 2009-2010
The Varsity Cheerleaders have a busy season that spans from the month of August to March. This year the girls attended a UCA camp at the University of South Carolina where they honed their skills and worked on team unity. They placed second in the Camp Champs competition. We are already deep into intense practices, game planning and competition preparation. I am so blessed to have such a talented and wonderful group of young ladies! They are hard working and dedicated to eachother. "Team over Self" is our moto this year and it reminds us of our #1 Goal: To glorify God through our pursuit of excellence! We are already having a great sideline season cheering on the men's soccer team. Both Coach Ebersole and myself are filled with excitement and anticipation about our upcoming competition season. We have an extraordinary, talented and dedicated squad of athletes that are committed to giving their best.
