ARC Support
with Ms. Weidman
Westminster is committed to helping all students achieve their highest
academic success. If a student struggles with class work, we have in place
several avenues of academic help. As a parent or student, your first line
of inquiry is directly to the teacher. Teachers are happy to help students
one-on-one with any subject matter students are having difficulty with.
Teachers are most easily contacted via email. Please contact Mrs. Weidman
for any information you need on Test Administration or Study Hall.
Peer Tutoring
Westminster students in 11th and 12th grades may volunteer to be peer
tutors. Peer tutors must be approved by the ARC director, who oversees this
program and schedule tutoring sessions. Teachers from any grade may request
a peer tutor for students.

Teacher
Tutoring
If a student requires consistent tutoring, a teacher must request scheduled
tutoring for the student. Parents may ask their student’s teacher for a
referral. The Upper School has a dedicated ARC director for tutoring.
Sometimes teachers will make themselves available for student tutoring.
Please contact your child’s teacher to arrange this type of academic
support.

Back Work at Westminster
If a student has missed an assignment or is having difficulty understanding
something covered in class, he or she may arrange to meet the teacher after
school in Back Work. Back Work is scheduled Monday through Thursday from
3:30 - 4 p.m. Students must make arrangements to meet a teacher in Back
Work. Teachers may also request that a student attend Back Work with them.
